With the on-going scandal of horse meat in burgers and ready meal products from supermarkets many people are turning to their local butchers for meat. In fact smaller firms are witnessing a surge in demand for locally-sourced food.
The Covered Market will be holding a Carol Service in the main square of the market on the 17th December at 12.30.
The Covered Market is one of the gems of Oxford city centre, but you could easily walk past and not know it was there, as the existing signs are inadequate.
With Christmas now only 52 days away its time to get into the festive spirit! This year the Tenants at The Covered Market have agreed to work alongside JACK FM Oxfordshire to help collect Christmas presents for Oxford Children’s Hospital.
We have over 50 independent stores in the covered market and some of our traders are facing an increase in rent prices resulting in them paying more then 60% of what they do now!
